EU-China Summit in The Hague on 8 December

A meeting between the European Union and China is to take place on Wednesday 8 December at the Binnenhof in The Hague. The EU delegation will be led by the President of the European Council, Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende and the incoming President of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso. Prime Minister Wen Jiabao of the People’s Republic of China will head the Chinese delegation.

Accreditation EU-China summit 8 December
Journalists who wish to be present during the EU-China Summit and who have not yet been accredited for any other EU event (ministerial meetings and EU summits in the Netherlands) must be accredited before Wednesday 27 October 2004. Accreditation takes place at the www.eu2004.nl website. Journalists who already have registered for other meetings may be accredited until 1 December.
